there is a moment that belongs to no one. not day, not night. not arrival, not departure. it lasts only seconds — and then it's gone.
i have been chasing it for years. in sydney, in rome, in lisbon, in rio. in every city i have called home for a while. i point the camera at the sky, remove the horizon, and what remains is pure colour. pure light. pure feeling.
no place. no time. just the in-between.
i have always lived there. between countries, between languages, between the life i left and the one i was building. between who i was and who i was becoming.
these photographs are not skies. they are states of being.
